Calprotectin Turbidimetric High Throughput Testing

Speed, Quality and Flexibility in Calprotectin Quantification

BÜHLMANN fCAL® turbo is a flexible turbidimetric immunoassay for faecal calprotectin applicable on many major clinical chemistry platforms. It is based on the standardization of the BÜHLMANN fCAL® ELISA, which is globally established in laboratories as the gold standard for calprotectin measurements.

The technology of immunoturbidimetry implements a further milestone in faecal calprotectin quantification allowing very rapid and flexible random access use, as well as being the ideal solution for high throughput applications in the routine laboratory.

Run Faecal Tests on the BioSystems BA200

Now you can free up space on your main clinical chemistry analysers by moving faecal calprotectin and elastase assays to the standalone BioSystems BA200 random access analyser. This bench top instrument offers an excellent alternative to the main stream analysers for faecal testing, with comparable performance and efficiency.

Complete Automation

The combination of fCAL turbo with the BÜHLMANN CALEX® Cap extraction device strongly simplifies the cumbersome procedure for stool pre-analytics and is ideally adapted for use on clinical chemistry analysers.

No additional pipetting and manual dilution steps are required anymore.

Recent modifications to the CALEX design enable it to be used on laboratory track systems to provide complete automation for faecal calprotectin testing with minimal hands on time.
